Our Global Online Seminars

Corrosion that starts inside tubular structures made of steel is particularly problematic because it is hidden from sight and often goes unnoticed. This corrosion can generate structural issues if the integrity of a steel assembly like a tractor cabin or chassis becomes weakened. It can also cause functional issues with potentially life-threatening consequences – if a fire extinguishing system is affected by corrosion, for example.

Typical corrective actions often involve substantial maintenance operations at regular intervals. As an alternative, Henkel’s BONDERITE M-PP autodeposition coatings prevent corrosion inside these structures right from the start. This uniform and robust protective coating increases safety for people, products and property, and is a smart and simple solution to implement.

This Online seminar will highlight issues related to corrosion, propose solutions, and provide examples for a variety of components made of steel tubes.

When we think about corrosion on aluminum surfaces, we use to think that aluminum is one of the best metals to fight against it, and that’s right. Aluminum, as a material, has growing impact in several industries due their properties; light & strong, can be painted, anodized,….

Having a look in to certain casted alloys, is not really easy to warrant certain performances when a balance between coating / cost / sustainability / quality are on the table.
With Electro Ceramic Coatings, the coated parts could achieve that balance between those aspects, amazing anticorrosion protection, thermal resistance, wear resistance, thin coating thickness,… Those products where high coating thickness are not accepted, those products where lightweight is an added value, those products that are really exposed to worst environmental scenarios,...

During our next Electro Ceramic Coating webinar, we’ll try to explain you what’s behind the technology, benefits, and real examples where thanks to the coating, our customers are fulfilling their demands.

Paint pretreatment is the foundation for a final paint finish and plays an important role in both function and appearance. This online seminar will discuss the means to properly control pretreatment parameters required to meet the functional and esthetical requirements of the final paint finish. Corrosion resistance and paint adhesion properties are strongly influenced by the pretreatment process. In turn, these performance requirements determine the needed pretreatment controls.

These pretreatment requirements drive control of the pretreatment process with respect to time, temperature and concentration of the various pretreatment stages. These various stages will require attention to keep their defined parameters within proper operating specification.

Control of these parameters can be achieved by various means including, manual control, timer/counter control and/or automatic control. We will discuss each of these methods to achieve practical control of pretreatment systems.

Attend the online seminar to learn how process control systems can improve process capability, reduce overall applied costs, increase the worker safety and/or expand process data trending and tracking capability.

Remanufacturing Cleaning

Isn’t it a waste that durable goods like trains, cars and earthmoving equipment are being scrapped after their service life? With the right remanufacturing processes, a lot of value which is embedded in the parts of the vehicle or machine can be retained. Not only will the environment, society and end users benefit from this practice, but certainly also remanufacturing companies themselves. For used parts that have operated under challenging conditions through their service life, one of the most critical operations is cleaning.

In this online seminar Henkel’s cleaning specialists will show you the typical cleaning applications in reman operations, how to increase efficiency and minimize waste & rewash rates.

Note: Remanufacturing is the industrial practice of returning a product to at least its original performance with a warranty equivalent or better than that of the newly manufactured product.
